The Brave Cocktail – Pride Month 2021. We created a cocktail to benefit Brave Space Alliance; a powerful Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ Center located on the South Side of Chicago. We were able to donate over $500 with the proceeds.
Shervin’s Rose Cocktail – Pride Month 2022. We created a cocktail to benefit OTV | Open Television; a powerful non-profit distribution platform for intersectional series, short films, and video art in honor of our late family member, Shervin Bain.
My best friend Shervin Bain and I worked at Eduardo’s Enoteca together in 2019; during his time there, he created this cocktail. Shervin was a champion for queer expression; a phenomenally talented OTV artist & general creative force. He sadly passed away in October 2021. It was only right to honor him with this Pride initiative and make a donation in his honor.
